Welcome to the Institute for Geoinformatics at the University of Münster. Geoinformatics is the science of modeling spatio-temporal processes computationally. The Institute of Geoinformatics Münster provides bachelor, master and phd degrees in geoinformatics. Our research areas are spatio-temporal dynamic processes, semantic interoperability, spatial assistance systems, cognitive engineering and sensor networks. |

The Canadian (students) network GEOIDE offers an interesting summer school in Calgary, June 8th to 13th, 2010. The GEOIDE summer school, designed for graduate students will offer courses in three of the leading and innovative Geomatics fields. ifgi offers one to two scholarships for MSc Geoinformatics students or last-year BSc Geoinformatics students. The summer school can be recognized with 2 credit points – details have to be arranged with the respective study coordinator.
